  • Computer users in computer science

All students who study a course at Umeå University receive a so-called UmU ID and an e-mail account with the address UmU-id@student.umu.se. This email address is your primary address. You can change this address via the portal. Students who take online courses in computer science or courses that have their information in Cambro are required to read this email address. As a student on one of the computer science campus courses, you will also receive a user in computer science and an e-mail address linked to csanv@cs.umu.se. Teachers on campus courses in computer science send all their information to this address. If you want the email to go to another address instead, do the following: 1. Go to the page http://webapps.cs.umu.se/ 2. Click on the link with the name "Mail forwarding" and log in with your cs username and password. 3. On the page there is a heading "Mail forwarding" and a text box. Write the email address from which you normally read your emails. (You can enter multiple addresses if you want.) 4. Click on the "Save settings" button and it's done.
