Design entails doing things and creating stages in a process. It also has to do with the material world, and has a focus on what matters. It is executed with dedication, is based on a context, and puts people first. There is always an applied perspective in which society, industry and the environment are important aspects. Design is executed in dialogue with the world around the designer, with the intention of making a difference.
