I am a university lecturer in statistics, engaged in both research and teaching.
My research focuses on functional data analysis, including both theoretical statistical approaches and practical applications. I am part of the U-motion Laboratory research group at Umeå University, a multidisciplinary collaboration aiming to explore various aspects of human movement.
My teaching experience spans courses in statistics at all levels. I also have extensive experience in educational development, including involvement in multiple pedagogical projects.
My recent involvement in academic administration includes serving as the first group deputy member of the Faculty Board at the Faculty of Social Sciences (2023–), and as a group deputy member of the Appointment Committee for the recruitment and promotion of associate professors and equivalent academic positions (2021–2023).
