You need to be registered for the course in the study documentation system to be able to follow the course and to get your results recorded during the course. Online registration is open between March 17, 2021 and March 24, 2021. If you do not register by March 24 at the latest, you risk losing your place.
To be able to sign in at the student website and register online, you need to have activated your Umu-id account.

Introduction
The course will begin with an introduction, where we present important information about the course and the studies, such as the course set-up, the schedule, learning outcomes and general information about studying at the Department of Political Science. The date and time for the first meeting with the course and the full schedule will be announced at the latest a month in advance.
The course deals with themes such as global environmental change, European environmental politics, multilevel governance, environmental policy design and more. The course consists of lectures and seminars, including guest lectures by practitioners and/or invited scholars, sessions that analyse governance and administration within or across different sectors and a (locally arranged) international conference.
Individual study is a central part of the course, so make sure to have access to the course literature already at the start of the course.
For this course we use the learning platform Cambro. There you will find all you need, for example the schedule, instructions for seminars, a list of course participants, and notices from the teacher. This is also where you hand in your own work.
To be able to log into Cambro you need an activated user account (Umu-id).
Umu-id är ditt användarkonto. Det behöver du för att kunna registrera dig på utbildningen. När du är ny student får du automatiskt ett Umu-id, men du måste själv aktivera det för att det ska fungera.
Umu-id kommer du behöva när du ska: • registrera dig på kurser • lämna in tentor, uppgifter eller se dina resultat • kolla din studentmejl • skaffa Umu-kort • använda datorer i datorsalar och universitetets wifi.
När du är på något av våra campus kommer du behöva ett Umu-kort. Umu-kortet är personligt och fungerar som passerkort, kopieringskort och lånekort. Allt i ett. För att få tillgång till kortet måste du själv ansöka om det.
Om du inte har pluggat hos oss tidigare kan det vara mycket att komma in i och hålla reda på. Välkommen till våra digitala föreläsningar 22-25 augusti då vi guidar dig genom studiestarten. Tittar gör du var du vill, föreläsningarna ges i Zoom. Det här får du vet mer om:
Sök det pedagogiska stöd du har rätt till på direkten. Då är det fixat när terminen börjar och du bara vill komma i gång med utbildningen.
Du kan få stöd om du till exempel har dyslexi, adhd eller nedsatt syn. Beroende på dina behov finns olika typer av stöd. Vanligt är att en får anteckningsstöd, längre skrivtid eller anpassning av sitt kursmaterial. Målet är helt enkelt att göra det lättare för dig att plugga på lika villkor.
Infocenter, möjligen de bästa vi har. De hjälper dig genom de första veckorna som ny student. Kanske behöver du hjälp med ditt Umu-id, att hitta rätt i lokalerna eller snabbt stämma av med en studievägledare? Och skulle de inte ha ett svar direkt, så vet de var och hur de vägleder dig vidare.
Infocenter håller till i Universum, huset mitt på Campus Umeå. Det är bara att du hör av dig om något krånglar.
