Mina specifika intressen är relaterade till artificiell intelligens (AI), specifikt karaktäriserar jag, designar och utvecklar mjukvarusystem med flera agenter som är inriktade på att stödja mänskliga aktiviteter, till exempel intelligenta digitala coachningssystem för analys av beteendeförändringar.

Jag forskar i flera projekt inom AI vid Umeå universitet med lokala, nationella och internationella partners. Mina forskningsprojekt är tvärvetenskapliga (se nedan).

Specific AI research areas:

  • Non-monotonic reasoning (e.g. Formal argumentation theory, answer-set programming)
  • Knowledge representation (e.g. Ontologies, Logic Programming, AgentSpeak lang)
  • Multi-agents systems (techs: Jade, Jason, JaCaMo)
  • Rational agents (e.g. Belief-Desire-Intention models)
  • Machine learning (Bayesian networks, decision/forest trees)
