Jag leder en forskargrupp som arbetar med nanomaterial, främst nanostrukturerat kol, och andra nanomaterial baserade på övergångsmetalloxider, ädelmetaller och hybridmaterial av dessa. Vi fokuserar på att undersöka och utnyttja de elektriska, strukturella och kemiska egenskaperna hos dessa material och deras tillämpning inom förnybar energi.

Min forskarkarriär inleddes med forskarutbildning vid Umeå universitet 1996 med professor Bertil Sundqvist (Umu) och professor Per Jacobsson (Chalmers) som handledare. Min avhandling fokuserade på polymerfaser av C60, och vi publicerade några viktiga arbeten rörande polymeriserad C60, fotpolymeriserad och interkalrerad polymer C60 med högt tryck.
