Research in health systems and policy seeks to understand and improve how societies organise themselves to achieve collective health goals.
We study policy outcomes as well as policy and implementation processes, including the contributions of different actors. Research questions concern the coverage, quality, cost-effectiveness and equity of health systems and interventions.
Our research draws on many disciplines, including economics, sociology, anthropology, political science, public health and epidemiology.
Methods include policy analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, realist evaluation and embedded research.
