At the Arts Campus by the Ume River, UID offers an international design education shaped by research, collaboration and state‑of‑the‑art facilities. Facilities

The facilities are open when ideas strike, with 24/7 access for UID students. Workshops for wood, clay and metal sit alongside interaction labs and digital studios for 3D modelling, prototyping and visualisation. The Project Studio hosts exhibitions and the annual degree show, while shared spaces keep the community close and the energy high.
